I know it is important to have the water tested especially if you there have been already reports of contamination. However, i wanted to know, how often should water testing be done? How is a contaminated water treated?

Okay, we are already aware that testing the water comes with a lot of benefits and why we have to test our water but i wanted to know how much water testing cost as well as water treatment? What if there were no reports about water contamination, do we still have to have our water tested?
